Scranton Mixed Martial Arts will be supporting the Susan G Komen race for the cure this Saturday. The Susan G Komen for the cure organization has a local affiliate in Scranton Pa and they will be holding a 5k race / 5k walk. All of the money earned will stay in the North East Pennsylvania area. The money will go towards education, early detection screening, research, and treatment programs.
Scranton Mixed Martial Arts has formed a team that anyone can join to help support this great cause. We will be doing both the race and the walk this Saturday. Registration starts at 6am on Saturday and closes at 7:45am. The runners will head towards the start line at 7:45am and the race will begin for them at 8:00am. Walkers will head towards the line at 8:15am and the walk will begin for them at 8:30am.
All members of Scranton Mixed Martial Arts are encouraged to join our team and participate in this great event. Also we are inviting any friends, family or fans to join us as well. If you are unable to join us for the race or the walk please consider making a donation to the cause.
