Scranton mixed martial arts is committed to ensuring the safety of all of our students but especially the young students who train with us. In an ongoing and continuous effort to improve the safety of our students Scranton mixed martial arts will be instituting a new Kids Safety Policy. Please read this article and let us know if you have any questions.

The policy will address issues with dropping off students and picking up these young students before and after the classes at Scranton Mixed Martial Arts Academy. We will not go into specifics in this article for both security and privacy concerns of our members and our families. All students and family members will receive information regarding the changes and our staff and instructors will go over any questions you may have.

We are very lucky to have such a wonderful and close knit family at Scranton Mixed Martial Arts. With that in mind we want to do everything we can to help keep everyone in our family safe. We want to establish a formal system on how all of our young kids will enter and leave the building to provide the highest level of safety that we can.

Im sure many of you heard about or read a story recently that made national news where a young student was abducted from a school. The goal of this policy is to do everything we can to prevent anything like that happening to a member of the Scranton MMA family. We feel that we have the staff and training necessary to keep our students as safe as possible and we know with your cooperation we can make it happen.

This week instructors and staff at Scranton Mixed Martial Arts will meet with all the parents, guardians, family members who either pick up or drop off students at the academy. We will also have several talks with the students to make sure they understand the changes as well.
