Beginners Six Month and Under

~Monday through Thursday at 6pm, Monday and Friday at 10am

Last week we worked side headlock escape 1 & 2 when an opponent traps us on the ground. This week we turn the focus to standing. Upon establishing a clinch on the opponent, it is highly likely they will become desperate and lock you in a headlock. Without the proper escape, the standing headlock can be a very painful and demoralizing place to find yourself, however with the right techniques you can turn their hold to your gain!

Intermediate Six Months to One Year

~ Monday Through Thursday 6pm

Sweeps in the foundations course take advantage of an opponent’s poor balance. In this lesson, you will learn how to execute a high percentage sweep against an opponent with a more solid base. First, you will learn the scissor sweep and then we will use the push sweep to deal with the opponent who reestablishes their base during the sweep.

Advanced One Year Plus

~ Monday and Wednesday at 7pm, Tuesday and Thursday at 10am
