Wow! The closing weeks of November was a busy and exciting time as Scranton MMA competition team divided and conquered! NAGA came and went and saw three Scranton MMA competitors ascend the podium in a number of gi divisions. Jess Papi took a bronze, Stephen Peragallo a silver, and Jamie Rickard a gold. In the same week the PA State Judo Championships were held and again Scranton MMA competitors climbed the podiums across a number of divisions. Bev Koss nabbed a gold medal win and Cheryl Mitchell secured a silver medal place. Closing out the month for the Scranton MMA competitors was Gary Peters at Cage Fight 9 fighting for the PA Welterweight Championship against Dave Spadell, Jr. The results? You guessed it! Another victory for Scranton MMA! Gary Peters brought home the belt and capped off a great month of competition.
